i didnt know what to change it to until my english teacher called me
i moved a few pictures there, and im going to add more soon. ive just been pretty busy lately, and drawing has taken a back seat to alot of other stuff. actually its taken to the trunk, and i keep getting piled with more things to do, responsiblities and such. its life, but saying that doesnt make it any easier.
it annoys me to no end that i could have avoided a great deal of work by signing up for easier classes my senior year. if i had known that colleges only really look at the junior year i would have put myself in easy classes. instead i signed up for the hardest classes i could find on the selection sheet, considering i had finished everything else besides the super-easy-slacker-filled-subjects. i had no idea that AP was any different then the honor classes that i had been doing for the last 3 years. now ive got more work then i know what to do with, and my teachers have no time to stop and help. what i mean by that is, my dumbass school set up the AP courses, originally year long, as SINGLE SEMESTER courses. all the neccesary work is smashed into 90 days, and i have two of these in the same semester, combined with anatomy and physiology and Animation.
i assumed animation would be fun, but the teacher doesnt teach, nor does she understand how to deal with students realistically. we sit in a room for an hour and a half meticulously drawing frame after frame, and talking is not allowed in anyway. it fries your brain, even if you love to animate. my animation, which i hope to post on deviantart somehow, has 250+ hand drawn frames so far. after that i have to scan them all and edit on photoshop to add color and movement, and then some other stuff she hasnt told us to do yet
there are very few actual artists in there, but she particularly loathes me. and sadly, grades do not reflect physical work, its all her opinion about you. i had her last year and i got a 85, while i was the furthest along in my class. a friend of mine got a 93, and he read mangas and slept in the back, while doing almost nothing on his 3d animation. of course it didnt help that i had a mountain dew next to a 5,000$ computer once, but yea... >.>
i tried remaining silent for 3 days straight, but whenever someone would ask me a question she would tell me to stop talking, even if i didnt respond at all.
oh well, theres nothing i can do now but not give up all together
im going to try and watch all the awesome artists i found in my time as vehemence, but im probably going to forget to add a few on my new account
